Just a short note to inform you of a community event we at the Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail are organising for the evening of 21st September at 7.15p.m. at Brackloon Wood Co Mayo,with the intention of viewing and detecting bats with ecologist Jackie Hunt. 

All ages welcome.
 
Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail Bat Walk

Monday 21st September 7.15pm
Location: Brackloon Wood
The CPHT is hosting a Bat Walk with the help of Ecologist Jackie Hunt.
There will be a cover charge of €5 and the evening will include bat identification with detector devices.
All ages welcome just wear something warm 
Brackloon Wood is situated 5km outside Westport on the Leenane Road. Turn right just past Knappagh at sign post for Owenwee
 
The wood is situated 250 metres along the Owenwee Road. There is Parking at Brackloon School, just past the  entrance to the wood.
