This non-refundable entry fee covers the administration and various costs (health and safety, insurance, printing, etc.) involved in organising the Walk. For this entry fee, you will receive:
The Route We are very excited about our lovely scenic route! This year's Run/Walk starts and finishes in Kells and takes a circular route around Maudlin, Cherry Hill and the grounds of Headfort House. Some local landowners have generously agreed to open their fields to us for the purpose of the Walk - so the route is exclusively open only for the day of the event. The cross-country/road route really showcases our beautiful scenery. The Walk will finish back at the Town Hall on Headfort Place and then we will enjoy food, our Closing Ceremony and post-race entertainment in the Headfort Arms Hotel. I've Already Registered - Where Do I Pick Up My T-Shirt and Race Number? Collect your t-shirt and race number at the Check-In Morning at the Parish Hall (Church Car Park) between 3pm and 6pm on Saturday September 26th between 11.30am and 1.30pm on Sunday September 27th. If you are registering on the day, then please get there early to allow yourself enough time. How Much Sponsorship Do I Have To Raise? We promise you a fun day out, but we are primarily a fundraiser for Action Breast Cancer and the Irish Cancer Society. Each participant is asked to try to raise €100 in sponsorship money (in addition to the €20 entry fee). Every cent of sponsorship money goes directly to the charity. You have until Monday October 12th to hand in your fundraising. Thank you for your support. Where Do I Hand In My Sponsorship Money?
You can hand in your sponsorship money at: • At the Check in Desk in the Parish Hall, in the Church car park on Headfort Place from 3m to 6pm on Saturday September 26th • At the Registration Desk in the Parish Hall from 11.30am to 1.30 pm on Sunday September 27th • At Kells Chamber of Commerce Office, Carrick Street, Kells - either before the Walk or before Monday October 12th Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to Boyne Valley Pink Ribbon Walk.
